Module A
Introduction and Foundations
An overview of each disability including Normal Human Development, Mental Retardation, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Autistic Disorder, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
The first Module is intended to provide you with foundation information regarding each of the five disability areas. This information will be presented by guest lecturers and will follow a fairly traditional, clinical model in both format and content. The course will seek to emphasize the capacities and abilities of people with developmental disabilities.
